The Spanish maestro Guillermo García Calvo, invited by the Amigos Canarios de la Ópera (ACO) will conduct Ernani by Giuseppe Verdi at the Teatro Pérez Galdós on May 24, 26 and 28.
After the success of El martirio de San Sebastián by C. Debussy, the Madrid-born maestro returns to the Teatro Calderón to conduct Giuseppe Verdi’s La Traviata together with a group of magnificent singers, including Claudia Pavone, Javier Franco and Sandra Ferrández.

The acclaimed Canarian tenor Celso Albelo has received a long standing applause at the Teatro de la Zarzuela after his extraordinary interpretation of Don Gil de Alcalá, by maestro Penella, with a beautiful and intelligent stage signed by Emilio Sagi.

The young and versatile Basque Soprano Jone Martínez will debut with the Robert-Schumann-Philharmonie at the Stadthalle- Sall of Chemnitz interpreting the «Sinfonía a Granada» by Lorenzo Palomo, composite work for Soprano, solo guitar and symphonic orchestra, together with Rafael Aguirre and conducted by maestro Guillermo García Calvo, GeneralMusikdirector of Theater Chemnitz.
