Eldar Nebolsin
PIANOBIO
Born in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) in 1974, he studied with Dimitri Bashkirov at the prestigious Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía, and is currently Chamber Music Professor at the Instituto Internacional de Música de Cámara de Madrid. He was awarded the First Prize and the Prize for the best Interpretation with Orchestra in 2005 at the International Sviatoslav Richter Piano Competition in Moscow.

He has collaborated with distinguished conductors such as Ricardo Chailly, Yuri Temirkanov, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Leonard Slatkin, Mstislav Rostropovich, Bernhard Klee, Helmut Rilling, Lawrence Foster, and some of the most brilliant Spanish batons. In addition to his concertistic feature, he has performed numerous recitals in concert halls like the Tonhalle in Zurich, the Washington Kennedy Center and the Roy Thompson Hall in Toronto, 92Street and New York Carnegie Hall, Herkuless Saal in Munich, Milan, Hungry, Yugoslavia y Luxemburg, Theatre Chatelet in París, Musikhalle in Hamburg, etc.
He has recorded all of Rachmaninov’s Preludes, and Liszt’s Concertos for piano and orchestra and Totentanz, for Naxos. His recording of the Concerto for piano and orchestra number 1 by Rachmaninov accomplished a tremendous success and was highlighted by the specialized critics.
He has toured on several occasions through Russia’s main cities (Moscow, Kiev or Samara) with the Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla, under the conduction of Pedro Halffter. Eldar Neboslin’s career as a soloist is completed by his chamber music activity, performing with numerous musicians such as the Erato Quartett, Julian Rachlin, Alexey Ougrinchouk, Jan-Eric Gustafsohn, or the Latica Honda-Rosenberg, with whom he has recorded two Prokofiev Sonatas for Artenova.
One of his most renowned recordings are the ones for the label Decca, with Chopin and Liszt pieces for piano, and the other one with piano and orchestra pieces by Chopin with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester and Vladimir Ashkenazy.
