MUSIESPAÑA welcomes Gabriel Bermúdez

The Spanish baritone becomes part of the Musiespaña roster of artists.

Born in Madrid, Gabriel Bermúdez studied at the Escuela Superior de Canto in Madrid with Carmen Rodríguez Aragón and, at the Escuerla Superior de Música Reina Sofía, with Teresa Berganza.

He was part of the first edition of Le jardin des voix, with Les arts florissants, directed by William Christie. Between 2002 and 2011 he was part of the Zürich Opera Company. Since 2013 he is a component of the Wiener Staatsoper. He has also performed at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, Staatsoper of Hannover, Teatro Real and Teatro de la Zarzuela in Madrid, Dortmund Opera, Opera of Oviedo, Opéra de Paris La Bastille, Opera of Muscat (Oman), Quincena Musical San Sebastian, Salzburg Festival, Teatro alla Scala …
