Pablo Sáinz-Villegas: great concerts in summer and powerful start of next season

Venues such as the Concertgebouw or the Rheingau Festival and orchestras such as the Sinfónica de Minas or the Amsterdam Sinfonietta are on the agenda of concerts of July for the Spanish guitarist, who will start the next season with the Orquesta Nacional de España in Verona (Italy).

Pablo Sáinz-Villegas’ concert schedule is full of highlights this summer. After his concerts at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, at the Reihngau Festival in Germany and as a soloist with the Amsterdam Sinfonietta in Passau (Germany), he will offer a recital in Shangay, at the MISA Festival, a new concert at the Concertgebouw as part of his tour with the Amsterdam Sinfonietta, and two concerts in Mexico City with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Minas, in which he will perform the Fantasía para un gentil hombre by Joaquín Rodrigo.

Sáinz-Villegas will start the 2019-20 season as a soloist with the Orquesta Nacional de España, with Juanjo Mena as conductor, in Verona, and again playing a work of Rodrigo, although this time the chosen composition will be the Concierto de Aranjuez. A work that he will repeat in his following concerts with the Indianapolis Symphony, on October 11 and 12. He will conclude that month with a recital, also in the United States, in the city of Southern Pines in North Carolina.
