Andrés Salado conducts "Le Martyre de Saint Sébastien"

At the head of the Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León, with stage direction by  La Fura des Baus, Maestro Salado will conduct one of the most ambitious works by Claude Debussy and Gabriello D’Anunzzio, «Le Martire de Saint Sebastien», produced by the Teatro Calderón de Valladolid together with the Teatro Comunale de Bologna and the Peralada Festival.

On 8, 9 and 10 February will take place in Valladolid the performance of this show that unites interpretation, music, dance and visual effects, with more than 140 people on stage and half a hundred musicians.

Salado faces this new challenge in the middle of a season with great milestones, which have included concerts at the head of the Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla at the Teatro de la Maestranza, the Orquesta de Extermadura at the Badajoz Conference Center or its previous concerts with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Castilla y León.  Very soon he will conduct the Orquesta nacional de España in the project «Film Music» and will travel to Mexico to conduct one more time the Orquesta Sinfóni ca de México.

In addition, he has been chosen as a member of the jury, along with Ainhoa ​​Arteta and Nacho Duato, of the TVE program «Prodigios» that will be broadcast shortly and that seeks young talents of classical music.
