Cañizares joins MUSIESPAÑA

Musiespaña is pleased to announce the exclusive representation in Europe of the famous guitarist and composer Cañizares.

With a career spanning more than four decades, Cañizares is the first and only flamenco guitarist invited by the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.

He collaborates with some of the world’s leading orchestras, such as the Staatskapelle Dresden, NHK Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre National de France, Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra, City Of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, National Philharmonic Orchestra of Malaysia, Orquesta y Coro Nacionales de España, Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona i Nacional de Catalunya, etc., working with conductors such as Sir Simon Rattle, Juanjo Mena, Kazuki Yamada, Pablo González, Kazushi Ono, Josep Pons or Jean-Jacques Kantorow, among many others, on stages such as the Teatro Real in Madrid, the Philharmonie in Paris, the Festspielhaus in Salzburg, the Konzerthaus in Vienna or the Tokyo International Forum.

Acclaimed by audiences around the world, Cañizares is intensely active in his triple role as concert performer, composer and teacher.
