Julian Rachlin, new artist of MUSIESPAÑA

Musiespaña welcomes the violinist Julian Rachlin who, from today, will be part of the agency.

With a long career, Rachlin is one of the most recognized violinists worldwide. He has performed as a soloist with orchestras and conductors such as the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra and Yuri Temirkanov, Filarmonica della Scala and Riccardo Chailly, Munich Philharmonic and Zubin Mehta, Orchestra of Maggio Musicale and Vladimir Ashkenazy, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and Lahav Shani or the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Juanjo Mena.

Outstanding violist and conductor, he has conducted orchestras such as the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, Berlin Konzerthaus Orchestra, Naples Philharmonic, Moscow Philharmonic, St. Petersburg Symphony or Essen Philharmonic, among others. He is currently the Principal Guest Conductor of the Royal Northern Sinfonia, Turku Philharmonic Orchestra and Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra. 

His most recent milestones include a residency at the Prague Spring Festival and his own cycle at the Musikverein in Vienna.

Julian Rachlin plays the violin Stradivari «ex Liebig» from 1704 and a viola Lorenzo Storioni from 1785.
