Her career has continued to flourish on major stages including the Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla, the International Festival of Music and Dance of Granada, the Grec Festival in Barcelona, and the Flamenco Festival of Nîmes, along with many other important series and events. Since the early 2000s she has performed in leading national and international venues such as the Teatro de la Maestranza, the Palau de la Música, the Palais de la Musique et des Congrès in Strasbourg, the Crystal Palace in Porto, and major stages in the United States and Germany. In 2001 she released her first album, Me duele, me duele, produced by Pepe de Lucía.

Her strong connection with symphonic music has become one of her artistic hallmarks. She is one of the most sought-after interpreters of Manuel de Falla’s El Amor brujo, a work she has performed with orchestras such as the San Francisco Symphony, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the National Youth Orchestra of Russia, the Galicia Symphony Orchestra, and the RTVE Orchestra, in venues that include Carnegie Hall in New York.
She has premiered major productions such as A mi tempo and Lorca y la pasión. Un mar de sueños. The latter drew forty-five thousand spectators to the Generalife. In 2025 Marina was one of the main attractions of the first Bienal de Flamenco de Granada, where she premiered her most recent album, ¡En libertad. El camino de los gitanos!, at the Palace of Charles V in the Alhambra, blending symphonic elements with traditional flamenco singing.
Her most notable awards include Andalucía Joven (2004), the Trofeo Peña El Taranto (2008), Flamenco Hoy (2011 and 2014), the Giraldillo al Cante (2016), the Medal of Honor from the Rodríguez-Acosta Foundation (2017), and the title of Favourite Daughter of the Province of Granada (2019).
